Hi all my friend has a laptop its a gateway solo Anyway he wanted me to clean it up and sort it out, put updates on etc I wanted to run all the updates for him before i gave it back so i went ahead and plugged in the ethernet cable and nothing, so i tried connecting my router directly to his laptop via ethernet and still nothing, it just doesnt seem to be working, ive looked everywhere for the answer but nothing..

A friend has told me i need the ethernet controller drivers, but i cannot find them..
