Installed 4gb ram now bsod problem

With one of these combinations can't remember which the pc would reboot constantly after a couple of second just black screen. So there is nothing wrong with the slots or my motherboard. When I only installed the new RAM, I got a blue screen saying that the new software isn't properly installed and it may cause damage parafrasing.
